For true enthusiasts, vehicles invoke an emotional response that other passions sometimes don’t. If we asked what car you learned how to drive a stick in, what car you took on your first date, or the first time you drove a Porsche, you could answer each one. Sometimes cars deserve to go unmodified and be brought back to their original state, the same state that might be attached to a memory of your past. Or maybe the car has a special place in automotive history, is a low production number, or you just like original vehicles. Whatever your needs may be, Kelly-Moss has the tools, knowledge and team to take your restoration to better than new condition.

The restoration process starts with a complete tear down of the vehicle exposing any defects down to bare metal. At this state the car can be fully assessed and a list of what needs to be corrected is made. Depending on the restoration, during this teardown stage vehicle history and research begin. Any quirks, features, or tiny details the car had during production are brought to the table. If the car was modified later in life, a VIN breakdown or Build Sheet inspection guides the build back to all-original. The Kelly-Moss Body Team is a group of artists, hand shaping panels to bring the vehicle back to new quality without the use of filler. Once the raw metal body is free of defects, absolutely straight, and every detail from the factory matches, the rebuild begins. If a full interior restoration is needed, the same process as above goes into the interior, matching colors, fabric, and materials. Once all pieces are back together, a fresh coat of paint is applied, and the car is running and driving like new, a Concours level detail completes the entire project.
